Medical Bills and Credit Cards

We don't have the best insurance, and I was paying on our medical bills. But, like all medical facilities, you can't just receive one bill, you receive many bills - one from the medical clinic, one from the lab that read the x-rays, etc. so I was paying what I could to each place, plus my other bills. I started getting calls that they needed to be paid NOW, so I did the unthinkable, I put it on a credit card to get the calls to stop.

Of course, we ended up having to go back to the doctor. So, now we have more medical bills to these facilities and now I'm paying on the credit card bill also.

Husband switched jobs, they screwed up his paycheck so he was only getting paid $100/week for the first 2 months. Whip out the credit cards.

Now we are in a situation where we owe a lot to the medical facilities, owe a lot to the credit cards and I'm juggling money everywhere.

I'm glad I found this site so I can start to try to put things back together again.
